Your tasks

  • Development of industrial connectors in the field of industrial communication
  • Coordination of development projects
  • Preparation of production drawings and other technical documentation
  • Cooperation with our own production facilities, the company's own laboratory, national and international testing authorities and all suppliers
  • Developing conceptual solutions in discussions with customers or suppliers
  • Processing of product changes and complaints
  • Implementation of certifications and approvals for passive network components

Your profile

  • Graduate engineer (BA/FH) or technician with experience in mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation or communications engineering
  • Experience in the development of passive network components in the field of industrial communication (patch cables or connectors (Cu/LWL))
  • Knowledge in plastic injection molding, zinc or aluminum die casting, as well as stamped bent parts / turned parts
  • 3D CAD practice (Solid Edge preferably)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 and SAP
  • Experience in engineering processes, such as FMEA and quality management.
  • Knowledge of common industry standards of data patch cables or connectors desirable
  • Experience in tool design and tooling advantageous
  • Experience with certifications / approvals (e.g. CE, UL) desirable
  • Good English skills (technical English), both written and spoken
