Your tasks
- As a Financial Systems Analyst (m/f/d), you act as the interface between the Controlling department’s requirements and IT (especially in the SAP environment).
- We are looking for an employee who, with their know-how and capacity, bridges the gap between the Controlling department’s requirements and IT (especially in the SAP environment) and represents the interests of the business unit. This includes both technical expertise (understanding financial data) and conceptual support (translating ideas and requirements into technical implementation as a Demand Manager for the business unit).
- In addition to data provisioning (extracting data from the ERP source system into an integration environment), a key aspect is automation and ensuring regular data delivery, particularly from SAP source systems and XLS files into the Controlling database (Planning Analytics/TM1).
- Furthermore, this role lays the foundation for the implementation of a regional Reporting and Analytics Center of Excellence (RACE).
Your profile
- You have a degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on Controlling or Business Informatics, or possess a comparable qualification.
- You have extensive experience with Excel and SAP BW/CO/FI, as well as knowledge of SAP (ECC / HANA).
- You are experienced in working with databases (TM1 / Planning Analytics, SQL, etc.) or other analysis and evaluation tools (e.g., Analysis for Office, Planning Analytics for Excel, Cognos, VBA, etc.).
- Initial experience with ETL processes and ODBC interfaces.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, German as an advantage.
- You are resilient, assertive, and characterized by a structured working style.
- Desirable: initial experience in AI, big data / advanced analytics / predictive analysis (R, Python, KNIME, etc.), knowledge of Apliqo tool.
