Your tasks

  • In this role you will work actively on the implementation of our key account management strategy in a technically demanding market.
  • Your focus is on sustainable, qualified advice and long-term customer loyalty for our key customers.
  • You will identify and win new key accounts in order to develop them into strategic customers for LAPP.
  • On the basis of systematic market observations, you will carry out sales, potential and price analyzes as well as trend analyzes in order to further strengthen LAPP's position in the market.
  • For your key accounts, you are responsible for creating sales and revenue planning (forecast), reporting key sales figures and achieving the set business goals.
  • You negotiate framework agreements and negotiate terms and conditions in order to further expand the business and adapt the product portfolio to market requirements.
  • Customer development strategies and suitable measures are coordinated, implemented and monitored by you.
  • You coordinate and monitor international sales and development projects and work closely with the commercial and technical departments to coordinate them.

Your profile

  • Successfully completed studies in economics, engineering or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in looking after major customers, key account management or business development with personal responsibility for customers and proven success with a focus on generating new customers or major projects
  • Analytical skills to aggregate customer needs and translate them into the organization to find solutions (Voice of the customer)
  • Flexible and independent personality who achieves solution-oriented results even in a dynamic environment with passion for sales and team spirit
  • Strategic way of working, entrepreneurial thinking and knowledge of methodological skills
  • You know how to inspire and convince customers and you are a valued contact person and a hands-on team player
  • You are familiar with the CRM system, SAP and the common MS Office applications
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English as well as intercultural competence
