Your tasks

  • Participation in the PEPA research project
  • Participation in work meetings
  • Refinement of the reference setup (drive line: network simulation, frequency converter, cable system, motor)
  • Equipping the reference setup with test and inspection samples
  • Comparison of different grounding concepts
  • Independent execution of tests
  • Evaluation of the obtained data, e.g. by means of Excel or Matlab in the time and frequency domain as well as documentation of results
  • Deriving EMC guidelines

Your profile

  • Studies with electrical engineering background
  • Skills of power electronics, power engineering and/or EMC
  • Confident handling of common measuring/testing equipment
  • Very good MS Excel skills (especially in handling large amounts of data)
  • Basic knowledge of mechanics, manual skills
  • Structured and independent way of working
  • Possibly first experiences with simulation tools like Spice or Plex
