Your tasks
- Identifying potential customers: You actively seek out potential customers and identify the right contacts within companies to present our products and services.
- Building and maintaining relationships: You establish long-term relationships with key decision-makers and maintain them on an ongoing basis.
- Sales and sales opportunity management: You ensure that the sales and sales opportunity pipeline is always in line with our sales targets.
- Activity planning and implementation: You independently carry out planned sales activities and regular sales meetings in your customer area.
- Handover to the account manager: You ensure a timely and smooth handover of customers to the responsible account manager.
- Maintenance of customer information: You maintain and update customer information in our SAP/CRM system.
- Coordination of customer specifications: You identify technical and commercial customer requirements and translate them into an SAP quotation from the LAPP portfolio
- Market and competition analysis: You stay up to date on industry trends, competitors and market developments in order to identify new opportunities and positioning strategies
Your profile
- At least 3 years of experience in sales or
business development - Unconditional ‘hunter’ mentality and determination to succeed
- Strong customer relationship building skills and good interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of the company's products and services
- Industry knowledge is an advantage
- Strong communication and presentation skills to establish initial contact, conduct persuasive sales talks and attract the attention of potential customers
- Consultative sales and understanding of customer needs (customer voice)
- CRM/SAP know-how is an advantage
- Understanding of purchasing
Knowledge or experience in working with AI programmes - Language skills in German and English and technical understanding is an advantage
