Your tasks

  • Develop, maintain and share comprehensive market insights, including dynamics, competitors, decision-makers and suppliers
  • Identify customer technical and commercial needs and based on the needs promote solution selling
  • For the sales teams: develop connector sales tools, provide technical support and give trainings
  • Support customer specific pricing
  • Calculate, define, prepare specific offerings for customer projects
  • Drive continuous project pipeline development, ensuring growth
  • Follow up customer project status
  • Support on-site project deals when necessary, bridging communication, technical details and required actions
  • Propose products, services, and solutions to enhance connector Business activities within the cluster
  • Build up and maintain strategic relationship with relevant supply chain partners, including contract negotiations and market penetration strategies
  • Conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations to explain the company's products to customers

Your profile

  • Degree in industrial engineering or extensive experience in a comparable position
  • 5+ years in industrial connector business, preferably in sales or business development
  • Deep knowledge of industrial connector market, including top customers, standards and trends in depth knowledge
  • Experienced in creating and analysing cost calculations including shipments, inventory, financial costs, etc.
  • Capable in transferring technical, sales and market knowledge to relevant stakeholders in a structured way
  • Ability to work in a matrix organisation
  • Strong negotiation skills and skilled in relationship management
  • Passionate about achieving sales & targets
  • Proactive "sales hunter" mentality with a focus on winning new projects
  • Local language and fluent in spoken and written English, professional proficiency
  • Good German language skills, French language skills are an advantage
