Your tasks

  • You are part of the Operations Controlling EMEA team and are responsible for purchasing controlling as a business partner
  • The (further) development of regular purchasing reporting and support in production reporting, in coordination with the finance leads and the factory controllers, is her area of ​​responsibility
  • You advise the SVP Procurement on the strategic orientation, point out optimization potential, create associated analyses, decision templates and ad hoc evaluations (business cases, profitability calculations, etc.)
  • The further development and automation of purchasing controlling is also part of her tasks • You are an active part of various initiatives to improve purchasing performance (e.g. supplier evaluation, total cost of ownership etc)
  • In addition, you will support the Operations Controlling team leader in the strategic alignment of the producing plants in collaboration with the plant managers, the finance leads and plant controllers
  • You are responsible for and maintain the necessary systems (database, BI front end) as well as ensuring compliance with standardized calculation methods
  • You carry out the monthly and annual closing activities
  • You support the planning of functional costs, KPIs and the profit and loss statement (annual, quarterly and ad hoc planning), as well as in plan tracking

Your profile

  • You have a degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on controlling or business informatics or have a comparable education 
  • You have worked in purchasing and/or production controlling in an industrial company or have gained experience in a comparable position
  • You have extensive experience in Excel and SAP BI, basic knowledge of SAP (HANA)
  • Experience in working with databases (TM1, SQL or similar) or other analysis and evaluation tools (e.g. Access) is an advantage
  • You are used to working in English in everyday working life 
  • You are resilient, assertive and your structured way of working characterizes you
