Your tasks

  • Independent development and design of connectors, including product group responsibility
  • Coordination of prototype production as well as planning and initiation of approval tests
  • Management and control of development projects, including scheduling and progress monitoring
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation such as specifications, drawings, declarations of conformity and approval documents
  • Close coordination with global interfaces, particularly production, quality assurance, testing and procurement
  • Coordination and alignment with international suppliers as well as presentation of development results, both internally and externally to customers
  • Identification of new technologies, materials and methods for further development of our products and integration into existing development processes

Your profile

  • A degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a comparable technical qualification
  • Several years of experience in product development, design and testing of connectors or technically similar components
  • Excellent CAD-skills, preferably in Solid Edge
  • Experience in prototyping and validation
  • Proficiency in SAP or comparable ERP-systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with a proactive hands-on approach, structured work methods and deep technical understanding
  • Ability to collaborate closely within interdisciplinary and international teams
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
