Your tasks
- Collaborate with business units, project managers, and IT teams to make technology decisions regarding SAP products and related business processes in accordance with functional and technical requirements, and to design scalable and sustainable SAP solutions
- Evaluate new SAP technologies, tools and methods to improve the performance of the platform and lead the architectural design and integration of SAP S/4HANA and other SAP products into existing IT systems
- Defining and maintaining the enterprise architecture for the SAP platform and ensuring alignment with the overall IT strategy and business objectives
- Providing technical leadership and consulting on SAP-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations and implementations, as well as identifying opportunities for optimisation
- Conducting impact and risk assessments for changes in the SAP landscape and defining risk mitigation strategies
- Ensuring compliance with data security, compliance and regulatory requirements in the SAP system
- Documenting the global SAP landscape in our Enterprise Architecture Repository (LeanIX) and creating architecture reports and diagrams
Your profile
- Degree in computer science, business informatics or a related field, with at least 7 years of experience in IT architecture, particularly SAP platforms, as well as expertise in the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA solutions
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Fiori and the SAP Business Technology Platform
and knowledge of architectural principles, frameworks such as TOGAF and best practices - Knowledge of SAP integration tools such as SAP PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite
- Experience with AI-driven improvements or automations and in-depth knowledge of relevant database technologies such as HANA
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA or MS Project for SAP initiatives
- Experience with tools such as Intelligent Robotic Process Automation (iRPA) for automating and monitoring system performance
