Your tasks
- Supporting the Executive Board member: You will support the CTO in the areas of technology and innovation by independently handling operational and strategic tasks.
- You will act as a sparring partner for discussions on content and strategic decisions.
- Developing content for presentations and documents: You will prepare presentations, briefings and other documents for board meetings, supervisory board meetings, customer visits as well as internal and external meetings in a professional and appealing manner.
- Managing and coordinating technology and innovation projects: You will be responsible for implementing and managing projects within the CTO's areas of responsibility (Product Development, Production, IT, Digitization, Process Development, Purchasing and Logistics). You will work closely with the specialized departments as well as with global and regional managers.
- Planning and execution of events: You will support the content organization and execution of events such as the LAPP Trade Press Days and ensure a smooth process.
Your profile
- Degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, innovation management, mechatronics, (business) informatics or a related field
- 2 - 3 years of professional experience in a “cross-functional” and fast-paced environment such as management consulting, research institute with a high level of industry exposure, doctorate, (or similar)
- Experience in analyzing, processing and interpreting data as well as strategic information for decision-making and strategy processes
- Confident and friendly manner, loyalty and discretion, as well as independent, solution-oriented and structured way of working
- Experience in conducting workshops, appointments and in interacting with people, as well as communication skills and the ability to work in a team
- High degree of initiative and flexibility
- Experienced in using MS Office, as well as excellent German and English language skills
- Willingness to travel for work (nationally and internationally)
