Your tasks

  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for EDI solutions to increase market penetration and usage, including collaboration with sales and marketing teams on targeted campaigns.
  • Advise and support customers in the use and implementation of customized EDI solutions aligned with their business processes, including usage analysis and optimization based on data.
  • Responsible for the implementation and global coordination of EDI integration projects in cooperation with internal teams, customers, and LAPP subsidiaries worldwide.
  • Work closely with IT teams to integrate EDI processes into existing systems (e.g., SAP) and to technically evaluate EDI services and alternatives such as APIs.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and validation to ensure data quality and compliance with standards, and promptly resolve EDI-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Create and maintain extensive documentation of EDI processes and workflows, including training internal staff and developing global documentation standards.
  • Facilitate communication with external partners, service providers, and internal stakeholders as the central point of contact for EDI inquiries, and actively contribute to the further development of LAPP’s digital sales strategy.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, plus at least 3 years of experience as an EDI specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of EDI formats (e.g., EDIFACT, VDA, ANSI X12), data mapping, integration, and experience with SAP ERP systems and integration methodologies.
  • Pronounced project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including intercultural experience in dealing with global customers and colleagues.
  • Independent, organized, and responsible working style with a proactive “get the job done” attitude and adaptability to change.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and accuracy in all areas of work.
    Willingness to travel up to 20% and strong verbal and written English skills for international communication.
