Your tasks

  • Strategic management and development of quality management in accordance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements
  • Global professional and disciplinary leadership as well as development of the Quality teams (e.g. Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, Customer Quality)
  • Ensuring product and process quality along the entire value chain in close coordination with the respective departments
  • Coordination of complaints and initiation of sustainable corrective and preventive measures (8D, Ishikawa, FMEA, etc.)
  • Close collaboration with development, production, and suppliers to achieve quality objectives
  • Management of quality projects within the scope of new projects (APQP, PPAP, sampling)
  • Regular preparation of quality metrics and reporting to management (KPIs)
  • Responsibility for audits (internal audits, customer audits, supplier audits, certification audits)
  • Cross-plant presence and close collaboration with the responsible departments during projects and series production

Your profile

  • Successfully completed studies in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification with further training in quality management
  • Extensive professional experience in quality management within the automotive industry
  • Comprehensive quality knowledge in electrical engineering as well as experience in the automotive supplier environment
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant norms and standards: IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, SPC, EMPB, and MSA
  • Proficiency in audit procedures (system, process, and product audits) and certifications
  • Experience in customer and supplier communication, particularly in escalation management
  • Knowledge in Lean Management, Six Sigma, or Zero Defect Management is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Independent and responsible working style, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
  • High analytical and problem-solving abilities, pronounced assertiveness
  • Excellent language skills in English and German, knowledge of Czech is an advantage
