Your tasks
The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering business and IT transformation initiatives (projects and programs), with a strong focus on ERP-related projects and programs. The role requires extensive project management expertise, the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, and a proven track record in delivering SAP-based initiatives. Experience in non-SAP business application projects is also highly valued to ensure flexibility across diverse technology environments.
The successful candidate combines strong business acumen with relevant IT expertise and acts as a trusted partner for business and technology stakeholders. In this role, the person is responsible for defining project and program strategies, managing budgets and resources, mitigating risks, ensuring successful execution, and driving sustainable business value realization.
The role requires excellent stakeholder management, professional relationship-building skills, and the ability to operate effectively in both classic and agile delivery environments.
- Lead ERP, SAP, business, and IT transformation projects and programs from initiation through successful delivery.
- Manage multiple projects and portfolios simultaneously, prioritizing resources and overseeing dependencies.
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, governance, and success criteria aligned with business objectives.
- Deliver SAP implementation, rollout, migration, upgrade, and transformation initiatives.
- Lead and support projects involving SAP, non-SAP enterprise applications, and broader business transformation initiatives.
- Drive business process optimization, harmonization, and organizational change associated with ERP transformations.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with business leaders, sponsors, vendors, and IT stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and outcomes to executive leadership while ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Establish project governance, manage budgets and forecasts, and ensure effective risk and issue management.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and project delivery methodologies.
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches to achieve high-quality project outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Manage external partners and cross-functional teams, ensuring accountability, resource optimization, and successful project delivery.
Your profile
- 5-7+ years of experience in IT project and/or program management, including large-scale ERP transformation initiatives.
- Proven track record of delivering SAP-related projects (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, ECC, migrations, integrations, rollouts, and business applications).
- Experience with non-SAP enterprise applications and business systems is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, workstreams, and stakeholders within international, matrix organizations.
- Fluent English
- Strong expertise in project, program, and portfolio management, including planning, budgeting, governance, resource, and risk management.
- Solid knowledge of Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies, with relevant certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, SAFe, Scrum) preferred.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, business process integration, enterprise application landscapes, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions while maintaining a strong business-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills, with confidence in interacting with senior leaders and executives.
- Highly organized, resilient, and adaptable professional with a strategic mindset, hands-on delivery approach, willingness to travel as required.
