Your tasks

  • Develop and implement the regional sales strategy to increase revenue growth and market share for the industry segment Battery Manufacturing in close alignment with the global Battery Manufacturing Industry Segment Manager
  • Responsible for industry segment turnover and profitability in EMEA 
  • Contact person for some key customers
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships through effective communication, needs assessment and solution development
  • Develop and describe key applications to deepen our market understanding, incl. customer requirements, fitting portfolio and key selling factors
  • Acquire new customers and support in growing existing ones
  • Manage the regional opportunity pipeline for the industry segment
  • Work closely with internal departments such as marketing, product development and customer service to provide your customer needs and facilitate customer-focused solutions
  • Identify and analyse industry specific competitors, market opportunities and trends
  • Train and develop sales representatives in application knowledge, product knowledge, sales techniques and industry trends
    Responsible for managing the regional sales budget and achieving sales and cost targets

Your profile

  • Degree in (industrial) engineering, electrical engineering or Business Administration with technical background
  • Several years of experience in B2B sales of electronic products
  • Ideally experience in the battery manufacturing and in the Automotive sector
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills and hands-on mentality
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in leading and motivating teams
  • Willingness to travel globally
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese. Knowledge of German is an advantage
