Your tasks
- Contribute to ensuring that LAPP products comply with all relevant global regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., CE, RoHS, REACH)
- Analyze and evaluate international regulations and support their implementation in existing and new product solutions
- Closely collaborate with global functions such as R&D, Quality Management, Product Management, and Production to integrate compliance requirements early in the product development process
- Coordinate testing and certification activities and ensure complete, audit‑ready compliance documentation
- Support the identification and assessment of compliance risks and help develop pragmatic mitigation measures
- Actively contribute to the further development and standardization of global compliance and testing processes
- Advise and train internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements and best practices in product compliance
Your profile
- Successfully completed degree in Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Law, or a comparable field
- Initial professional experience in Product Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, or a related area - ideally within an internationally operating industrial company
- Solid knowledge of relevant international regulations and standards (e.g., EU directives, REACH, RoHS, UL) as well as a basic understanding of certification and testing processes
- Experience in an industrial environment (e.g., mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or technical products) and a good understanding of product development processes
- Strong analytical and structured working approach, combined with a high level of quality awareness and sense of responsibility in dealing with regulatory requirements
- High intercultural competence and enthusiasm for working with international, cross-functional teams
- Self-driven, communicative, and capable of clearly explaining and conveying complex topics to different stakeholders
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage
