To strengthen our Marketing Communications team, we are looking for a committed and competent specialist for trade press communications. The position is initially limited to two years as part of a parental leave replacement.

Your tasks

  • Creation and distribution of press releases, technical articles, reference articles, interviews and other article formats for the trade press
  • Planning and creating editorial content for our digital customer magazine LAPPconnect
  • Expanding our network of journalists and maintaining contacts with trade journalists and editors
  • Organising and supporting trade press events and interviews
  • Monitoring and analysing media coverage
  • Creating press materials for trade fairs and events
  • Supporting the development and implementation of communication strategies
  • Close collaboration with internal departments and interfaces such as Global Communications, Product Development and Sales

Your profile

  • Degree in communication sciences, journalism, PR or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in press and public relations, ideally in the specialised press sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident handling of standard MS Office applications and experience with content management systems, marketing and tracking tools 
  • High level of creativity and organisational skills 
  • Technical understanding or the ability to familiarise yourself independently with technical issues and the ability to present complex technical and specialist content in an understandable way
  • Business fluent in German and English necessary, further foreign language skills an advantage 
  • Strong communication skills, creativity, excellent team player
