Your tasks
- Independent responsibility for the development of new LAPP products in the area of connection, control, and data cables including design material selection risk assessment and development support until product launch
- Creation of technical specifications and technical data both within the scope of new product development and throughout the product lifecycle
- Professionally sound communication and coordination with all relevant stakeholders in product development national international production sites procurement laboratory testing and other departments to ensure an efficient new product process
- Coordination of the entire initial sampling process and certification process for LAPP products in the area of connection control and data cables with the team
- Evaluation of electrical influences and correlations for cable design using national and international standards knowledge
Your profile
- Successfully completed engineering or business studies (Master/Dipl./Bachelor) and/or completed advanced technical training or comparable qualification
- Good technical understanding in the fields of electrical engineering and mechanical engineering, ideally with experience in connection, control, and data cables
- 2-5 years of professional experience in a similar environment is desirable
- High level of initiative, commitment, responsibility, and determination, as well as flexibility
- Strong motivation for independent action and the development of new solutions using digital methods (data-level automation, AI tools, etc.)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Very good proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written, as well as confident use of MS Office
