Your tasks
- Independent development and qualification of network components (active and passive), including patch cables and Industrial Ethernet switches
- Development of conceptual solutions in discussions with customers and suppliers
- Observation and analysis of technical trends with development of prototypes
- Coordination of development projects with internal and external partners in close
cooperation with product management on a global level - Cooperation with our own production facilities, the company's own laboratory, as well as national and international suppliers and testing institutions
- Creation of technical documentation (e.g. production drawings, product changes, certifications) (e.g. production drawings, product modifications, certifications)
- Processing technical complaints and implementing certifications and approvals (e.g. CE, UL)
- Definition and coordination of product release tests in the laboratory
Your profile
- Degree in engineering, e.g. mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation or communications engineering Mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation or communications engineering
- Several years of experience in the development of network components (active and passive) in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of development process methods for hardware and embedded software development
- Experience with PCB design, FMEA, quality management and certification processes
- Knowledge of plastic injection moulding, Zinc/aluminium die casting and toolmaking are advantageous
- 3D CAD practice (preferably Solid Edge), proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and SAP
- Analytical thinking and structured way of working as well as a high level of initiative and teamwork
- Very good written and spoken English skills (technical English)
