Your tasks
- Product and process approval for initial sampling of supplier products
- Carrying out supplier audits
- Collaboration in the processing of supplier quality assurance agreements
- Application of quality tools in product development (product/process FMEA, acceptance standards, critical characteristics, etc.)
- Support of interdisciplinary teams
- Interdisciplinary error analysis and coordination of measures
- Definition & evaluation of quality targets and tracking of all relevant quality indicators
- Support of complaint management - 8D report processing
- Carrying out process acceptance tests to ensure quality in series production, including on site at suppliers' premises
- Training employees in quality tools and statistical methods
Your profile
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Certified Green Belt 6 Sigma (Black Belt desirable)
- Experience in application and as moderator of product-process FMEA
- Ideally experience in the automotive or automotive supplier industry
- Knowledge of stage-gate development processes (e.g. APQP)
- Knowledge of PPAP and PSW desirable
- Master's degree in an engineering program (or engineering diploma)
- Experience in conducting process audits ideally in accordance with VDA 6.3
