Your tasks
As a Strategic Incubation Manager, you play a key role in developing and realizing new business ideas and innovative solutions for LAPP. In the role of an intrapreneur, you drive the development of a start-up in a corporate environment and successfully lead projects with passion, initiative and assertiveness. In doing so, you test, validate and implement potential business ideas using the lean start-up method. Specifically, this means:
- Formulation and testing of hypotheses regarding customer needs through customer interaction and market analysis
- Development of prototypes and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) as well as conducting user tests
- Design and validation of a business plan for new business models (such as revenue planning, resource requirements) as well as regular communication and presentation of project progress to the management
- Project management with interdisciplinary team members, including budget responsibility as well as close cooperation with stakeholders within the existing corporate environment
- Development and implementation of an integration strategy to incorporate the start-up into the LAPP organization
Your profile
- Degree in business administration, engineering, innovation management, entrepreneurship or a related field
- Strong interest in or experience as a start-up founder/employee, venture architect, venture builder, (innovation) consultant or as a corporate intrapreneur with a high level of motivation, commitment and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of the lean start-up method: experience in applying lean start-up principles to develop and validate new business ideas. Experience in prototype development and conducting customer interviews
- A high level of creativity, commitment, sense of responsibility and determination, as well as flexibility
- Proficient use of Office 365 and collaboration tools
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as very good skills in written and spoken German and English
Professional experience in the field of corporate incubators, business development, innovation management or the start-up ecosystem is desirable. We welcome applications from motivated graduates or early-career professionals as well.
