Your tasks

  • Strategic responsibility & team leadership: Development, provision, and maintenance of IT security solutions within the LAPP Group. Technical and disciplinary management of the IT security team, including personnel development, coaching, resource and budget planning, and management of external service providers. (The role comprises approximately 60% hands-on activities and 40% management tasks.)
  • Firewall Management & Zero Trust Architecture: Design, implementation, and management of the next-generation firewall infrastructure and establishment of a zero trust architecture.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Support with ISMS audits (e.g., ISO 27001) and ensuring compliance with legal requirements (e.g., GDPR, TISAX). Preparation of reports and decision templates for management.
  • Incident response & security tools: Responsibility for incident response management (including emergency and recovery plans) as well as selection, introduction, and operation of modern security solutions (e.g., EDR/XDR, SIEM, CASB, WAF, vulnerability management).
  • Coordination & project work: Close cooperation with internal departments, external partners, and customers, as well as participation in projects such as cloudification, modern workplace, IAM, and SAP security.

Your profile

  • Successfully completed degree (FH/DH/BA) in the field of (business) information technology, training as an IT specialist for system integration or a comparable degree
  • You have 5 - 8 years of relevant professional experience
  • You have the ability to consider the interests of others, are motivated, and think entrepreneurially
  • Open and communicative cooperation with cross-functional teams as well as a high level of customer and service orientation
  • You are attracted to working in a dynamic, international environment. A structured way of working, flexibility, very good English language skills, and willingness to travel round off your profile
