The position of Transportation Specialist (m/f/d) is a fixed-term position for a maximum of 12 months.

Your tasks

  • Planning and coordinating UIL shipments (inbound and outbound) for all modes of transport
  • Analyzing and optimizing transport flows using transport KPIs, as well as identifying and implementing optimization measures
  • Conducting tenders, negotiations, and finalizing framework agreements and pricing agreements with freight forwarders and CEP service providers in Germany and abroad
  • Point of contact for all transport logistics matters, both internally and externally
  • Management of goods receipts and shipments in close cooperation with operational departments
  • Invoice verification in the transport sector
  • Participation in projects related to transport logistics

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in transportation and logistics or a vocational degree in freight forwarding and logistics services with professional experience
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in transport KPIs, transport logistics, transport law, and tender and negotiation processes
  • Expertise in route and network planning, and ideally knowledge of transport process automation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as basic knowledge of SAP
  • Ability to coordinate across departments and work independently
  • Good English and very good German language skills
