Your tasks
- Supporting the Materials and Transportation Management team in day-to-day operations: entering order confirmations, coordinating and monitoring delivery dates/dunning procedures
- Maintaining master data in SAP
- Assistance with supplier selection and evaluation: support in researching and selecting potential suppliers, maintaining and updating supplier profiles and documentation in TEAMS
- Support with the organization, coordination and processing of import shipments, including customs clearance in collaboration with freight forwarders
- Support with REACH/ROHs inqueries to suppliers
- Identification of potential savings and optimization opportunities
- Support with contract preparation, administration and filing of contracts and order documents
- Support in the analysis and optimization of existing purchasing processes, as well as development and implementation of measures for process improvement
- Support with purchasing projects from PM: updating to the latest status, handling the old to new supplier purchasing process an risk analysis of possible supply failure
Your profile
- Enrolled student (m/f/d) in the field of business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study
- Initial practical experience in purchasing, materials and transportation management or a related field is an advantage
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel, Teams
- Analytical thinking and a structured way of working
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
- Good knowledge of German and English
