Your tasks

  • Responsibility for the procurement and awarding of automotive components to existing and new national as well as international suppliers
  • Conducting comprehensive market and competitive analyses as well as evaluating global and regional procurement markets in the automotive environment within managed projects
  • Independently leading price, terms, and contract negotiations as well as playing a key role in the selection and development of suppliers
  • Identifying cost-saving potentials and performing cost analyses to optimize the managed components
  • Close collaboration with project and product management, development, production, and quality assurance to ensure efficient and stable purchasing and ramp-up processes
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements along the entire supply chain, so that all purchasing activities comply with legal and internal company regulations as well as automotive standards (e.g. IATF 16949, CSR, compliance and sustainability guidelines)

Your profile

  • At least 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing or project procurement, preferably in the automotive sector
  • Profound knowledge in automotive sourcing and contract management
  • Confident handling of SAP S/4HANA and MS Office
  • Experience in market and competitive analysis as well as cost optimization
  • Negotiation-level German and fluent English skills, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge in risk management and compliance, ideally IATF 16949
  • Team-oriented collaboration with internal departments and suppliers
  • Knowledge of plastic injection molding is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, negotiation expertise, and ability to work independently
  • High problem-solving competence and assertiveness
